BBA LL.B. is a five-year integrated law programme in India that combines undergraduate business administration with professional legal education. It is designed for students who want to build careers at the intersection of corporate management and law. The course covers core law subjects along with management, finance, marketing, and organizational behaviour. Graduates can pursue litigation, corporate legal roles, compliance, consulting, or higher studies like LL.M. and MBA.
BBA LL.B. is a 5-year integrated degree regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and offered by universities, National Law Universities (NLUs), and private institutions. The programme blends foundational business and management learning with compulsory legal education, helping students understand how businesses operate and how laws govern commercial activity. In the initial years, students study management principles, economics, accounting, and communication alongside core legal methods, legal language, and constitutional basics. As the course progresses, the focus expands to contracts, torts, criminal law, property law, administrative law, company law, labour laws, taxation, intellectual property, and international business laws. Practical training is a key component, including moot courts, legal aid clinics, drafting and pleading, client counselling, internships with law firms/corporates/NGOs/courts, and ADR practice. After completing the degree and fulfilling internship requirements, graduates can enroll with a State Bar Council to practice as advocates, or opt for corporate legal, compliance, and policy roles, particularly suited to business-facing legal work.
