MCA AI/ML is designed for graduates who want a strong computing foundation along with specialized skills in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Across four semesters, students study core areas such as data structures, algorithms, database management systems, operating systems, software engineering, and cloud fundamentals, while progressively moving into machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, MLOps, and big data tools. The programme emphasizes practical implementation using Python and relevant frameworks, along with model evaluation, responsible AI concepts, and deployment pipelines. Most institutes include labs, case studies, and a capstone project that mirrors real-world problem solving such as recommendation systems, predictive analytics, image classification, or chatbots.
