Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) Diploma is a job-oriented programme designed to develop professional skills for teaching children typically aged 2 to 6 years. The course focuses on early childhood care and education (ECCE), child psychology, growth and development, and age-appropriate teaching strategies. Students learn to design play-based and activity-based lesson plans, use stories, rhymes, art and craft, music, and games to support language, numeracy, motor skills, and socio-emotional development. Classroom management, inclusive education basics, health, hygiene, nutrition, and child safety are also covered to help teachers create a secure learning environment. Most institutes include supervised teaching practice and internship components, enabling learners to apply methods in real classrooms.
