GATE 2026 - Important Dates

The GATE 2026 application portal opened on August 28, 2025, with regular registration closing on October 7, 2025 (extended). Admit cards were released in January 2026. The examination is conducted over four days: February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two shifts daily. Results are expected in March 2026, with scorecards downloadable shortly after. Counselling through Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) for IITs and Centralized Counselling for M.Tech (CCMT) for NITs/IIITs begins in May-June 2026. PSU applications follow individually post-results. Candidates should check gate2026.iitg.ac.in regularly.
