To qualify for KCET 2026, candidates must be Indian citizens with Karnataka domicile or have studied 7 years in the state, including PUC/Class 12 from a recognized board with at least 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Biology (40% for SC/ST/OBC). No upper age limit applies, but course-specific criteria exist, like additional NEET for medical or NATA for architecture. Reservations include 15% SC, 7.5% ST, 27% OBC, and horizontal quotas for women/PwD. Foreign nationals or non-Karnataka residents may apply under supernumerary quotas with higher fees.
