Students studying in Class 10 in a recognized school (including government, aided, and recognized private schools) are eligible to apply for Stage I as per the State/UT rules. Candidates must qualify Stage I to appear for Stage II conducted by NCERT. Additional criteria such as minimum marks in the previous examination and domicile requirements may apply as per State/UT notification.
