The Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG 2026) has officially commenced today, March 6, 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the exam in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for admissions to various postgraduate programs in central universities and participating institutions across the country.

The CUET PG 2026 examination spans multiple dates from March 6 to March 27, 2026, covering 157 subjects in approximately 44 shifts (typically 2–3 shifts per day). Exams are held on March 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, and 27, 2026.

NTA has issued important guidelines for candidates:

• Report to the exam center at least 90 minutes before the shift starts.

• Carry a printed admit card, a valid photo ID (Aadhaar/PAN/passport, etc.), and follow the dress code (avoid prohibited items like electronics).

• No entry after the gate closes.

The subject-wise schedule, including specific papers per shift, is available on the official portal. For instance, early shifts included subjects like yoga, sports, Sanskrit, and others.

CUET PG 2026 serves as the gateway for PG admissions in over 200 participating universities, including central, state, deemed, and private institutions. Scores are used for merit-based selection in MA, MSc, MCom, MTech, LLM, and other postgraduate courses.
