IIM Ahmedabad Opens MBA-PGPX 2027-28 Admissions at iima.ac.in
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has opened admissions for its one-year full-time MBA-PGPX programme for the 2027-28 batch. Applications are currently open in Round 2 on the official portal at iima.ac.in (via pgpx.iima.ac.in).
PGPX is designed for experienced professionals seeking accelerated leadership development through case-based learning, peer interaction, and an international immersion component.
Eligibility criteria
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline (minimum 15 years of formal education: 10+2+3 or 10+2+4).
Minimum age of 25 years as on 31 March 2027 (born on or before 31 March 2002); no upper age limit.
Valid test-centre GMAT or GRE score (taken within the last five years; online/take-home scores not accepted; GMAT Focus Edition accepted).
Minimum four years of full-time work experience after graduation as on 31 March 2027.
Candidates may apply only once across both rounds.

Shortlisted candidates submit essays and appear for offline personal interviews conducted by IIMA faculty. Selection considers professional background, career progression, leadership potential, and overall fit.
The recent PGPX cohort of 160 students had an average work experience of about 7.4 years, with 29% women and 36% holding international exposure. Entry scholarships (up to 25% of fees) are available for defence personnel, government employees, women, and other specified categories.
